I've never touched a gun before. Is this class really for me?
Absolutely! This class is specifically designed for people with little to no experience with firearms. Whether you already know you want to obtain a Wisconsin CCW because you’re considering carrying a firearm, or you’re simply exploring the possibility of owning and carrying a firearm in the future, this class is a great place to start.
You do NOT need to own or already have a firearm to obtain a Wisconsin CCW.
In fact, there are many important factors to consider when choosing a firearm, including how you plan to use it, comfort, fit, safety, and personal preferences. For many people, it may actually make more sense to take this class before purchasing a firearm for carrying concealed. The information you learn can help you make a more informed decision about what firearm is right for you.
What does my friend need to do to register?
After you complete your booking, you'll receive a special link to share with your friend. They just need to enter their information and pay the $49. Both seats are reserved together.
What should I bring?
Be Comfortable, Bring along a paper and pen/pencil in case you want to take notes. Do Not bring any firearms or ammo to this class.
How many people are in each class?
We limit classes to 20 people maximum (10 pairs) to ensure everyone gets personalized attention and plenty of time on the range. This is not a cattle-call class.
Can I bring someone under 21?
You cannot apply for WI CCW permit unless you are 21 years old. However, if you are the child's legal guardian, and you feel they are ready for class and can benefit from the knowledge, bring them along!
What if I need to reschedule?
You can reschedule your class up to 48 hours before the scheduled time at no extra charge. Just contact us and we'll find a new date that works.
What do I do after getting my CCW?
Typically, people who take responsibility for their own self-defense, as well as their families. will go on get additional training. They understand that obtaining a CCW is not training, nor is it the same as being proficient with your handgun, especially in a stressful situation where you only have seconds to react.
