I've never touched a gun before. Is this class really for me?
Absolutely! This class is specifically designed for people with little to no experience with firearms. Whether you already know you want to obtain a Wisconsin CCW because you’re considering carrying a firearm, or you’re simply exploring the possibility of owning and carrying a firearm in the future, this class is a great place to start.
You do NOT need to own or already have a firearm to obtain a Wisconsin CCW.
In fact, there are many important factors to consider when choosing a firearm, including how you plan to use it, comfort, fit, safety, and personal preferences. For many people, it may actually make more sense to take this class before purchasing a firearm for carrying concealed. The information you learn can help you make a more informed decision about what firearm is right for you.
What does my friend need to do to register?
After you complete your booking, you'll receive a special link to share with your friend. They just need to enter their information and pay the reduced fee, or they can pay before the class starts (come early). Both seats are reserved together when you register.
What should I bring?
Bring your Handgun Owner's Manual, your Cleaning Kit, and your unloaded Handgun. If you do not have a Cleaning Kit you can purchase one in class for $25.
No Live Ammo in the class.
How many people are in each class?
We limit classes to 12 people maximum (6 pairs) to ensure everyone gets time, space, and attention. This is a mastery class so everyone needs to get hands on.
Can I bring someone under 21?
Yes you can. There can be a great learning benefit by attending this even if underage, and/or don't have your own firearm.
What if I need to reschedule?
You can reschedule your class up to 48 hours before the scheduled time at no extra charge. Just contact us and we'll find a new date that works.
